In the last few years, major renovations and constructions have been carried out at the Center of Electric Power and Energy (CEE). New teaching, office and lab facilities were upgraded or newly build.
On Thursday June 23rd 2016, the grand opening of the new lab facility PowerLabDK will be celebrated, which was announced by the head of the Department (Jacob Østergaard) on LinkedIn.
The grand opening will be celebrated on Lyngby Campus of the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) with:
- Inspiring talks by international keynote speakers from industry and academia
- More than 40 technical demonstrations: High voltage short-circuit tests, smart city living, blackout prevention, interactive electricity market models, electric cars, etc.
- Presentation of the most recent research results from 30 young scientists.
- Panel discussion on challenges and experience with Living Labs
- Official inauguration
